Phase 1 of This Home Lighting Upgrade Is Already a Game Changer

Sometimes one phase of a job is enough to completely change how a space feels. That's exactly what happened here. We're working through a 3-phase lighting upgrade for this home, and even with just the first phase wrapped up, the difference is hard to ignore.

In the living room, we installed recessed LED lights across the ceiling - clean, evenly spaced, and properly positioned to fill the room with light without any harsh glare or dark corners. It's the kind of thing that sounds simple but takes real planning to pull off right. Too far apart and you get pockets of shadow. Too close and it feels like an office. Getting that balance dialed in is where the skill comes in.

The dining area got a completely different treatment - a pair of woven pendant lights that bring warmth and character to the space. Those fixtures put out a soft, ambient glow that works perfectly for a room where people gather and eat. Functional and good-looking. That's what well-chosen lighting should be.
