He also made it no hassle for me in terms of dealing with the SMUD rebates. Install was done in about 1.5 hours and I'm up and running in no time. Ty just installed an EV charger for us - he was very knowledgeable, experienced, and communicative. His handling of the SMUD installation rebate and city inspector scheduling was seamless. We took him up on his suggestion to add some better lighting (can lights) in our garage gym, and he also added a couple more outlets there for us at our request (one of them at no additional charge). His pricing compared favorably to other estimates and he was genuinely a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend working with Ty!

A few months ago, I hired Ty from Illuminate Electric Solutions upon recommendation from a neighbor to hardwire six Ring security cameras at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. I give Mr. TY a 10/10 for his quality service and professionalism. He installed 3 chandelliers 1 outdoor fan and gave me an extra electrical socket all withina few hours. He was also patient when I asked him to readjust the lights to my liking. He is responsive to text and calls. I am so happy with his work I am hiring him for more work. His pricing is also fair and reasonable.I highly recommend him as an electrician.

I had a lighting issue with my dining room light. I contacted Illuminate and they set up an appointment for the next day. He came out and was able to quickly find the problem and fix it so it worked perfectly, and even brought in some excess wire because it was too long for the light fixture. Thank you!
Ty installed an EV charger for us, and was super knowledgeable about which one to purchase and the rebates that were available. He set up all the paperwork for permits and inspection, and shared the link for me to purchase the charger from SMUD so we could receive the $500 rebate for the charger as well as the $500 rebate for the installation. He also installed a new ceiling fan and repaired a broken outlet for us. Great communication and a really nice person to work with!

I had a huge project with Ty involved for an addition and full remodel of existing structure in South Lake Tahoe. Ty was not just my electrician, he was a true problem solver and partner along the whole process. We hit multiple road blocks from Liberty, which took 4 MONTHS to resolve and give Ty the ability to finish the job as well as construction challenges with beams, drywall covering his well planned wirings and so much more. He not only was flexible and able to accommodate and fix the issues that weren't even his doing, he also understood how hard these challenges were, and provided great solutions outside electrical problems. He's reliable, always available, great communicator, provides transparent and fair pricing as well. Have no doubt, trust this man and his skills!

Can’t recommend enough! Ty came out to install recessed lighting in two bedrooms as well as two ceiling fans for us. He was on time, professional and friendly. When there was a hiccup with access, he was upfront and transparent about the additional cost which we greatly appreciated. The recessed lights and the ceiling fans look great! We will definitely be calling again as we look to update parts of our new home.
I was looking for a professional to install a chandelier on a high ceiling and a ceiling fan in our master bedroom.
